What better way to spend Canada Day than playing our favourite Canadian past time: street hockey!

Join us at Southcentre Mall for the ultimate street hockey celebration.

PLUS, there will be a ton of other activities for the whole family to take advantage of between games, including:

Details:

  • Age brackets for kids ages 5-17 (see brackets below)

  • Guaranteed three games, plus additional playoff games

  • Minimum of 4 players and maximum of 7, including a goalie

  • Single-elimination playoff games

  • No restrictions on the number of male/female players on each team

  • Some players may have more advanced skills in passing, shooting and stick-handling.

  • Focus on fun and sportsmanship

  • Helmets are required for all players under the age of 18

Age Brackets

  • Timbits (age 5/6)

  • Novice (age 7/8)

  • Atom (age 9/10)

  • Pee Wee (age 11/12)

  • Bantam (age 13/14)

  • Midget (age 15/16/17)

Kids within 1-2 years of each other can play on the same team. If the difference in birth years is more than two years, younger players can choose to play up a division, but older players can’t play down.

The intention is to keep skill and competition levels fair for every player, while allowing kids to play with their friends!

Please note that depending on the number of registrations, some age brackets may be combined.

Our sons have watched us play in street hockey tournaments for years and are excited to be able to participate this year!
